Orsika Julia

Certified Canfield Trainer – The Success Principles

Speaker, Author & Coach

Hi, I’m Orsika! (pronounced Orshika) My Hungarian name was given to me by my refuge parents. They came to America in the late 1960’s with my sister and brother. I am eternally grateful for the sacrifices my family made for our freedom. I am a single mother of three beautiful humans, two dogs, two cats, three lizards, a snake and a chicken (she cracks me up all the time!!!)!

The “zoo,” as I affectionately refer to my household, keeps my plate full and my soul happy. Two of my children are adults and happily married. One beautiful human is still at home with me and the zoo. In all honesty, he’s a major reason for all the fun critters & lots of fluff! We truly enjoy all the floof! Our critters entertain us daily.

My childhood was filled with fond memories of figure skating, dancing, horseback riding, school activities, and friends. My adulthood had its fair share of trauma. I am a survivor of domestic violence. Now, on the other side of the pain, shame, and guilt, my mission is to create a safe space for those who have experience their own trauma and are willing to reclaim passion and joy in their personal and business lives. It took years of dedication to myself to be where I am today. Honestly, I didn’t think I was worth any level of dedication. What kept me going were my children. I knew, deep down inside,  they were worth my healing. I wanted to live a fun-filled and healthy life with them. I chose, each day, to be better than the previous day – for them. Eventually, that motivation started turning slowly to be better for myself minute by minute. Healing from any sort of anguish is not easy. It takes motivation, authenticity, and vulnerability.

On my journey, I overcame PTSD (after admitting I had it for five years), learned from a number of personal development coaches, became certified as a Certified Canfield Trainer with Jack Canfield, and started my own business.

As I cried in the abusive relationship, feeling empty and worthless, I wouldn’t have ever thought my life was going to be the way it is today. The dedication to my family is what motivated me to get out of my own quicksand. Day by day, I changed the trajectory of my family. The road was rough, but I now live in daily gratitude for my journey.

I’d be delighted to connect with you!
