About Orsika Julia

Her Story...

After surviving domestic violence, Orsika began speaking to audiences about healing from trauma. Her humble beginnings started with coaching fellow survivors and participating on various podcasts. Now, she speaks to universities and churches to audiences about SAAFE dating.  Orsika created SAAFE (Sexual Assault Awareness For Everyone) to educate audiences on how to recognize and keep healthy relationships, release toxic people from your lives, and how to successfully create boundaries with others.

Not only did Orsika survive domestic violence over a decade ago, she is also a breast cancer survivor.

Orsika’s time healing from both of life’s challenges has been vastly different. With one, there was shame, blame and guild involved. While, with the other, there has been continued support and love.

Now, Orsika openly speaks on how her faith and positive mindset has helped her through both situations.

On the personal side, Orsika is the daughter of Hungarian refugees. She speaks, reads, and writes Hungarian fluently. Orsika lives in western Michigan with her amazing husband, wonderful son, and a slew of critters including dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, and chickens.

On her days off, you’ll likely find Orsika either sitting on her front porch appreciating the view or in the chicken courtyard appreciating the silliness of the ladies.
